Terms of Service

Welcome to Aandall ("we," "us"), operated by Srividya Srivathsan. By creating an account or using aandall.org, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. The service

Aandall provides AI-assisted writing tools, including Draftsmith (editing and fact-checking) and Omniglot (translation and localization). AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or outdated — including fact-checks and references. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying anything you publish or rely on. The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a Google account or an email address and password. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent billing, or use it for unlawful content.

3. Tokens and payment

Usage is billed in tokens. New accounts receive a one-time gift of 50,000 tokens. Additional tokens cost $1 per 50,000, purchased through Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your card details. Each AI run consumes tokens based on the actual computation used, deducted from your balance. Saved drafts cost 500 tokens per file per month.

4. Personalisation from your edits

Aandall learns from the changes you make to AI-generated text so that future results match how you write. This is on by default and you can switch it off, inspect it, download it, or delete it at any time from your Account page. We store a short description of your writing style plus your 20 most recent edits; edits older than 90 days are deleted automatically.

Your style profile is yours alone. It is used only to produce your own results, is never shared with other users, and is never used to train AI models. Updating the profile uses a small number of tokens from your balance — at most once per day, and only when you have made new edits and hold sufficient balance.

5. Your content

You own the documents you write, upload, and generate. You give us only the limited rights needed to operate the service: storing your drafts, processing them through AI models, and returning results to you. We do not use your documents to train AI models. You're responsible for having the rights to any content you upload, and for not uploading unlawful content.

6. Storage and deletion

Saved drafts incur the monthly token charge above. If your balance can't cover storage, your files are kept for a 90-day grace period, then permanently deleted. You can delete your files yourself at any time; deletion is permanent.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or losses caused by reliance on AI output.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
