Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

This page explains what Aandall (aandall.org) collects, why, and what happens to it. Plain language, no surprises.

What we collect

Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. With email sign-up we store your email and a securely hashed password. Sign-in is handled by Authentication service provided by an USA based cloud service provider.

Your documents. Drafts you save are stored in a USA based cloud service provider tied to your account. Text you process is sent to the cloud service provider to produce results; we do not use your documents to train models.

Usage and billing. We record token usage per run (counts, not content) and your token balance. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card number never touches our servers. Stripe shares with us only the payment amount and status.

Analytics. We use Analytics to understand site traffic. A consent banner asks before analytics cookies are set; if you decline, visits are counted anonymously without cookies. We track whether a visitor is signed in as a yes/no — never who.

Languages. If you list languages you know on your Account page, we store that list to power community translation features.

Your writing style. When you edit text the AI produced, we compare the two versions to learn how you prefer to write, and we store a short written description of your style (for example: "favours short sentences, avoids semicolons, uses British spelling"). We also keep your most recent edits — up to 20 of them, and never older than 90 days — as the evidence behind that description. This profile is used only to personalise your own results in Draftsmith and Omniglot. It is never shared with anyone, never shown to other users, and never used to train AI models.

You can see exactly what has been learned, download it as a readable file, switch the learning off, or delete it entirely — all from your Account page. Turning it off stops future learning; deleting removes what has been learned so far. Neither affects your documents or your tokens.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't show ads. We don't use your documents to train AI models. We don't share your content with anyone except the service providers named above (AWS, GCP, Azure, Stripe), each of which processes it only to provide their service to us.

Where data lives, and for how long

Data is stored on cloud servers in the United States. Saved drafts stay until you delete them, or until unpaid storage passes its 90-day grace period. Style-learning samples are deleted automatically after 90 days, and only your 20 most recent edits are kept at any time. If you want your account and all associated data deleted, email us — we'll complete it within 30 days.

Your rights

You can access, correct, download, or delete your data at any time — most of it directly on the site, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live (e.g., EU GDPR, California CCPA), you may have additional statutory rights; we honor reasonable requests regardless of geography.

Children

Aandall isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
